Camp invention 2017

This summer, children entering grades two through six (currently in Katy ISD 1st-5th grade elementary Challenge program) can attend Camp Invention to spend time exploring how things work and creating their own original inventions. This program is being offered by KPGT and local educators exclusively for students in the Katy ISD Challenge program. Camp Invention programs inspire confidence in curious children like yours - not just for a day or a week, but for a lifetime!

  • Have fun using your creative problem solving skills!
  • Create your own personal, ultimate Spy Gadget Alarm Box by taking apart and upcycling everyday machines.
  • Launch water rockets, build Bubble Blasters, and engineer giant castles.
  • Explore a distant new exoplanet and design inventions to create the next Earth.
  • Design duct tape products and pitch them to mock investors.
