Coping with the pressure and stress of academic demands and living a balanced life.
Mastering the rigors, expectations, and demands of high-level academics is not a small achievement. It
is easy to recognize similarities in the mental strengths of an athletic champion and an academic
champion. In this workshop, Mr. Robert Andrews (see bio below), whose primary area of expertise is sports, offers techniques for improving performance that translate easily to academics. Working with the mind and heart of his client, Mr. Andrews effectively helps improve clarity and focus, enhancing the ability to function in a competitive environment. This program, “The Mind of a Champion,” is an interactive, eye-opening opportunity for students to recognize mental and emotional roadblocks to their success.
We highly recommend this session for all GT-identified junior high school students!
*Please note: This is a junior high student only session.*
