KPGT Member Benefits
Become part of a nonprofit support and advocacy group that has served the Katy Independent School District since 1987. Your membership in KPGT supports the following efforts:
- Early registration and discounted ticket prices to KPGT events
- Access to speaker videos through Members Only section of website
- Members-only family events
- Email news updates
- Parent and teacher training opportunities
- Campus Liaisons and support group
- Social opportunities for gifted students and their families
- Scholarships for teachers of the gifted in KISD
- Representation on district and state committees
- Recognition of Outstanding Teacher, Parent and Advocate of the gifted
- Affiliation with the Texas Association for the Gifted and Talented
- Affiliation with the National Association for Gifted Children
KPGT is a Tax Exempt Organization under IRS Section 501(c)(3). We appreciate employer-matching funds. All donations directly fund programs & services that address the unique needs of KISD G/T Students. Residence in Katy ISD, or having a child in the KISD G/T program is not a requirement for membership; however, only identified G/T students may attend specified events.
