KPGT Member Benefits

Become part of a nonprofit support and advocacy group that has served the Katy Independent School District since 1987. Your membership in KPGT supports the following efforts:

  • Early registration and discounted ticket prices to KPGT events 
  • Access to speaker videos through Members Only section of website
  • Members-only family events 
  • Email news updates 
  • Parent and teacher training opportunities
  • Campus Liaisons and support group 
  • Social opportunities for gifted students and their families
  • Scholarships for teachers of the gifted in KISD 
  • Representation on district and state committees
  • Recognition of Outstanding Teacher, Parent and Advocate of the gifted
  • Affiliation with the Texas Association for the Gifted and Talented 
  • Affiliation with the National Association for Gifted Children

KPGT is a Tax Exempt Organization under IRS Section 501(c)(3). We appreciate employer-matching  funds. All donations directly fund programs & services that address the unique needs of KISD G/T Students. Residence in Katy ISD, or having a child in the KISD G/T program is not a requirement for membership; however, only identified G/T students may attend specified events.
